I prefer the movie version and the Elton John version right after

I voted for the Elton John version. I like the movie a lot (in fact, I like almost all a lot), but i am a sucker for the originals.
And by the way, the Elton John one is the very original one, so this list is kinda wrong. 8-)

The very original version option should be renamed to "early production" version.

I liked the very original version the most (and I'm not referring to Elton John's). The movie version is good, but the softer opening with the piano is 1000x better in my opinion. I just wish the sound quality was better, and the voices were actually the correct ones.

I love the Broadway one actually ^_^ The movie one coming in a close second, and then Elton John's.

Mine is first the Movie Version,

Closely followed by the Remix Version of the the Elton John one from the 2004 Special Edition Soundtrack.

My best childhood friend got married to the original Elton John version, (one of the people I'd always play TLK with, actually, you wanna talk about a "Circle of Life" moment,) so I always think of that one as formal/for classy dress occassions, the 2004 Remix just sounds more expansively happy and soaring.

Erg that's a hard one, I love the original movie version but after I heard the very first version for the first time (several years ago) I fell in love with it! Especially Simba's line because to me it sounds like a more grown up take on "Hakuna Matata", it really suits him at that stage in his journey. Plus that line really hits a nerve with me personally, too.

Woah, after the seeing the YT video of the very first original version, the feeling was even stronger then the official movie version. So I think I'll cast my vote on the very original one.

Yet, the movie version is still great, as this should remain my second favorite.

I just love how Timon starts singing in the finale of the song (before Pumbaa is shown next to him and joins in). Visually (camera transitioning from Simba and Nala, and centers on Timon), it might have looked funny. But overall, I find the feeling of what he sings here to be very true, heartfelt, and kind of serious. I don't just laugh at this part.

Just one more reason why :shattered: , is A lot more than a TLK comic relief.
