I would have been 7 at the time... strange, I thought I was 5  Need to re-learn how to count I think. I have a fairly vivid memory of going to see it. We went as a family with our back neighbour and his partner. I remember tearing up at Mufasa's death but not crying. For me, I was instantly in love with the movie and basically from that moment on, all I ever wanted to play with friends at school, sing or watch was the lion king :) I knew all the words by heart practically straight away. Although I used to called Rafiki, Rafafki

Well, I was 2 when it was released in theaters, but I don't believe I actually saw it until my parents bought the VHS the next year. So I was 3.

I didn't really get into the movies until I was 14 though.

I reckon I must have been 6 or so when I first saw, cause I don't remember going to see it in the cinema, so I only watched it when it came out on VHS, and I don't think my family got it straight away, either.

Fell in love with it, forgot about it through my teens, fell back in love with it this year. Adn I intend to never go back, either! TLK is brilliant! :D

I think I was about 3 or 4 when I saw it for the first time. I don't remember that much of the experience itself but I must have been really blown away by the film as it's still my all time favourite 14 years later!

I would have been 2 when it was released, but I'm not sure when I saw it first. I remember jumping when Scar's paw slammed down on the mouse, and my sister, who is 3 years older, aparrently was clawing at the screen to try and save Mufasa... I also have a very clear memoryb of my Aunty crying when Mufasa died. It showed how everyone was effected.
The Lion King changed my life, and I will love it forever.
