I have not which it in a long time, it was funny but insulting as well... The more serious "Lion King I" and "Lion King II" were infinitely better.

I like it. It's not a masterpiece of anything, but it's entertaining and heartfelt. Although it was probably only made to milk any more money out of TLK it could. I remember really enjoying this as a kid, watching it with my former best friend we had a blast and were laughing the whole way through. And that's the whole point, in a way: make the younger audience laugh. And that's exactly what it did for me.

well. it's not my favorite of the three, but it is my husband's favorite. Now, it is a Timon and Pumbaa movie. and it shouldn't be looked as trying to compete or totally mock the Lion King. It wasn't meant to put down the wonderful story, nor meant to be taken so seriously. Again, it is a Timon and Pumbaa movie, if you can't stand them, then you just can't 'get' this movie. Some people love them and enjoy seeing 'their' side of the story. But you all knew that their side of the story would be with selfish Timon and goofy stinky but lovable Pumbaa and their humor. Their tv show was very successful, so why not make a movie??

I think its a waste of a tlk film, we could've had a film about what happens next to the pride, but instead we got timon and pumbaas story. Its not that I don't like film in itself, it was just disappointing not to find out what happens to kovu and kiara.

Face it. Disney Sequels need to be movies you could watch without watching the others. If they did what happened to the pride next, it would be an overload of characters to new audicences and children. Without TLK 2, you can pretty much understand there was once a dictator named Scar. In this one, you can watch it easily without misunderstandings. Take Fox and the Hound 2, you don't even need the first movie, or Bambi 2. :excited:

You don't really need to know what happens, odds are they would have a cub too which would become king/queen and so forth. A continuation IMO would have just followed the whole running away from home, falling in love, coming back home to fight formula and it would have been more of the same. At least TLK 3 at least tried something different =/

One thing I can say is that if they did a continuation of the family tree, it would have been cool to see Simba and Nala as grandparents.

It's funny, but I still don't like it. We needed a continuation, not a rehash of TLK.
I am also a big fan of: Phantom of the Opera, High School Musical, Harry Potter, Disney in general, Days of Our Lives, musicals in general, Dr. Seuss in general and the Grinch.

Well, I thought the animation was better in this on the lions than it was in LK2 IMO, but the story was weak and just seemed very out of place with the timeline and stuff. I did watch it about four years ago though and I don't remember too much xD
