The magical pool scene with Rafiki and Simba. Everything about it is just perfect: the music, the lighting (okay, in RL, we will hardly see a thing, but we can pretend that it's how Simba sees it, although cats at night only see in B&W, but I don't care. I'll let it slide), and just how everything starts to unravel together. For a very quite scene (and one very loud one afterwards), it has a huge impact on the plot, the story, and on Simba himself:

I doubt Simba would have returned if Mufasa had simply popped in front of him with the clouds. I think it only worked once Rafiki found Simba and really showed Simba how Mufasa was not quite dead, because he lived in Simba as well. Mufasa showing up as a ghost was simply the last nudge required to get Simba back on the right track, but it was Simba and Rafiki playing around with Simba's mind that really did all the work.

This is why I think that scene is the best in the entire movie. But most of the others come extremely close. That's how good this movie is.
