True true, the only way it would ever be answered is if disney did another film about TLK and that was part of the storyline, but since TLK is a massiv franchise and it's already started to slip Disney would need an amazing storyline to do another, which is something they would never have.

I personally think it would be cool if she survived the fall and returned in TLK 3(Not 1 1/2).

Well, even if she survived the fall, she wouldn't live long anyway. If she born during Ahadi's reign, it'd mean she's super old...

I think Zira's tumble down the ledge and into the river is meant to imply that she drowned, just as Scar's shadow being attacked by the shadows of the hyenas implies that they ate him alive. The animators probably didn't want to show Zira's corpse in the water or Scar being torn apart by the hyenas, for obvious reasons lol. :P

and yet they show Mufasa's corpse, how odd, I understand the Scar ripped to pieces bit, but how about drowning, not nearly as bad.
