It's a 'meh' film. Not very great, not bad, but good. Zira being my all-time favorite Disney character ever, I did love her role in the film and I loved many of the characters. A cute, charming film but isn't anywhere close to it's mother's insanely high caliber.

Yeah. The only thing I disliked was the many mistakes.

I liked it but I wish it had higher production value (ie. they spent more time on it and writing the songs).

Honestly..
No, I don't.

The first time I watched it I stopped after 30 minutes, and I can't bring myself to watch the whole thing through..

Interesting... What did you dislike about it, if you don't mind me asking? And I really do think you should watch it through first before passing judgement; I will admit the generally the art / animation is not up to the quality of the first one but as a story I think TLK2 was pretty good so maybe you will get into it a bit later in the film?

And yes quite evidently I did like TLK2; I thought it was more interesting as a story than the 2nd one; the only thing wrong with it... Too many main villains. In TLK Scar was clearly the bad guy; in TLK2 (and yes I have been over this with other films) I often wandered if the main villain was Kovu, Nuka, Vitani or Zira. I mean sure ...
Spoiler: show
Zira dies in the end
and you would assume that would make her the main villain of sorts but I am not so sure.

I liked it just as much (MAYBE slightly more) than the first film.... And if nothing else I found it leagues beyond TLK1.5.

I haven't seen it in a while now but I think one of the reasons for why I don't hate it is because I used to love it as a kid. If I'd seen it for the first time now I probably wouldn't have really liked it.

I just really hate how they butchered Simba's character in it.. >.>
That's whut ultimately made me turn it off.
But also the colours look dull and washed out, and the whole thing just has a.. wrong feeling to it. :/
And, being based on Romeo and Juliet, the film has a love theme behind it which really doesn't appease me to watch it all either..

(And ofc, there's no Cubbeh Simba in it either. :nehneh:)
