Nala's Eyes in TLK

Haha! No, Nala's dad isn't Scar - no, it isn't Mufasa - no, it isn't even the young and hansome lion called Ni! It's a leopard!

Yeah, the white area isn't usually visible when the eye is healthy. But in some photographs, the small area around the pupil looks darker than the yellow area (iris). Maybe the yellow area of TLK lions' eyes is really the iris, and that little area (green, blue or brown) that looks like iris is... something else.

lol but typically hybrids between species that different renders the offspring infertile and thus unable to have cubs. so, Kiara would have to have been mothered by another lioness so then that'd be weird. especially since Kiara has Sarafina's nose.

I know that, they usually can't have cubs. But I've read that both female and male tigons (and sometimes female ligers but it's rare) are able to have cubs with lions or tigers. I don't know about leopons though.
And if Nala's dad was a leopard, she would actually be the leopon and Kiara would be a 3/4 lion...

I've heard many people say that Kiara has Sarafina's nose. What do they mean? The color or what?

no, the angling and shape. it's not just the "pad" of the nose, but the entire structure. I only noticed it when I was drawing them. I might make a comparison thingy sometime.

Hmm, I think you're right! I've been drawing their noses for ages and I've never realized that. Cool! And I think the color is also very close to Sarafina's. Sarafina's nose is lighter than adult Nala's, just like Kiara's.
