What Do You Think Really Killed Mufasa?

Whatever. And by the way, this site isn't about just posting on things to increase your post count. If you paid attention to what I said before you would have seen that I also have alot of evidence. I just said "It was the fall" because noone took my evidence into account. You said about the fact that the hooves would have crushed, and I debated that. Don't think that I was attacking you because I wasn't. I was trying to get you to see that it could be the fall that killed him, but you ignored that and just continued to whitewash and post on everything.

I don't think it was the fall that killed Mufasa. It was more likely that it was the hooves. Atleast, thats how I see it.

This made me curious, so I went to check my TLK storybooks to see if there was a specific description of Mufasas fall that would explain wether the fall or the wildebeest killed him.

I have two different versions of the TLK storybook, both in Norwegian. This is what they say about Mufasa falling:

Book 1: The Lion King fell down towards the running herd of wildebeest, straight down on the sharp horns and the thundering hooves.

Book 2: Mufasa lost his footing and fell down towards the fleeing animals.

If any of you have the English storybook versions, you can check for yourself.

One of the books states what I wrote above. So yes, that book claims the wildebeest killed Mufasa.

I agree with what that book says. It seems clear to me (from what we see of Mufasa falling in the movie) that he`s landing on top of the wildebeest, I just can`t see how he could have fallen directly to the ground with the number of animals filling the gorge.

That doesn't settle anything. It says that he fell into the wildebeest, but it didn't say it killed him.

But its commen sense that the wildebeasts killed him.
