Do you like TLK2?

Hunchback II made me want to cry, seriously. Because of how bad it was. I felt like Disney had just slapped me in the face or something =( SP is at least ten times better than that utter piece of crap.

Yes, I do like SP. It has a lot of flaws, plot wise and I agree that they needed a bigger budget to get the characters right, but as a sequel it is not too bad, it's decent. It leaves a lot of gaping holes, but I love the song He Lives in You. I think Simba's character is so different because he was trying to overcompensate for running away and leaving the kingdom in disgrace. He was trying too hard to be Mufasa. As for Kiara, I like her for the most part, but I hate when they make her a damsel in distress. Her Mom Nala was strong in the first film, leaving Pride Rock to find food. What happened to my other girl Sarabi?

As for the topic of worst Disney sequels Pocahontas II IS THE WORST EVER! . I realize that historically Pocahontas married John Rolfe. However, in the original film the romance between her and John Smith has been firmly established. I felt John Smith would do anything to get back to her and she to him. The totally killed Pocahontas' character by having her accept "English" customs and giving up her mom's necklace what in the blue blazes? I hated how they dumbed down John Smith. I admit he is a handsome, adventure guy. Anyway, I hated that sequel. My two favorite (non-animal) couples are Meg and Hercules (that's kinda obvious ) and John Smith/Pocahontas.

I liked it. It's nowhere as good as the first one (tough act to follow) but it's decent.

There are a few other Disney sequels that are decent (King of Thieves and Enchanted Christmas are two that come to mind.) Haven't seen most of the others (evil part of me wants to see Cinderella III, which has a REALLY bad reputation from what I hear.)

Cinderella III is your average DTV Disney sequel, better than some awful ones (Pocahontas II, The Little Mermaid II, Hunchback of Notre Dame II, Cinderella II, etc) but still very mediocre.

I actually didn't like TLK2 or TLK 1/2. It just wasn't that intresting to me. In fact you could say I hated it. -shrug- But I love the first movie.

No, not really. I didn't find any of the characters likeable. Especially not Kovu and Kiara.

Why does everybody (meaning many people) like Kovu and Kiara?! I just don't see the appeal in Kovu. I personally liked evil Kovu and cub Kiara (and cubbie Kovu). I didn't like adult Kiara. And good Kovu is boring to me. I liked TLK2 but some characters didn't interst me much.
