Mickey's voice actor has died numerous times. He's still everywhere.
And Zazu's original actor quit. But he's still in the movie.
So Sarabi is really no exception.

Anyway, like I mentioned earlier.. If Sarabi was in SP, there’s no way we’d miss it. Of course Disney could replace her voice actress, but we have to remember that in the story of SP, Sarabi isn’t an important character, even her role in TLK was a very minor one.
If Sarabi did appear in SP. why on earth wasn’t she present at Kiaras presentation? Timon and Pumbaa were there, so why would Simba’s mother and Kiaras grandmother be excluded?

I honestly don’t think Sarabi was in SP at all, simply because she was a "disposable" character. Zazu is important for the story, he plays the role of the Kings right-hand man, his advisor and helper. They couldn’t remove him from the character list simply because Rowan Atkinson didn’t show up to lend his voice again.
With Sarabi it’s different, it’s easy to assume she passed away sometime between the end of TLK and beginning of SP. She doesn’t appear in TLK6NA either, for that matter. Sarabi simply isn’t a key character for the story, she wouldn’t add anything to the film by appearing in SP. I love her, but she’s not a major character, and that’s what Disney movies revolve around.

PK: Nala was in at least 3 scenes in TLK1.5

aside from Nala, I can't spot any other mistakes on the bios. but I'm e-mailing Disney about those, asking them to put one up for Sarafina, and seeing if they'll provide me with where Sarabi is in TLK2 if she's actually there. that should clear things up

but with my past experiences with e-mailing them on there, it could take up to 3 months before I get a reply...so this might be awhile before we can be absolutely certain.

I also emailed them about that link akril gave me saying Zira and Scar were siblings. That just CAN'T be right. I also threw in the question about who Vitani and Nuka's father is and if Chumvi is Kovu's father.

Sarabi wouldn't be in SP without anyone noticing.. plus, she was already really old anyway. She possibly died before Kiara was born.

I personally never even thought of Sarabi and become to wonder why she isn't there, until someone said she isn't. I guess I automatically assumed she'd died of old age or something.

Anyway, has anyone of you who e-mailed them last spring, got any answers? I suppose not since you haven't said anything here. Just thought I'd poke in case you've just forgotten.
