Scar's Alternative Name

For example, can you imagine Cub Simba calling him Uncle Garbage? o_O

That made me giggle.

Personally, I like both names, but I know the character as "Scar." Since English is not my first language, I don’t consider the meaning. It would be really weird if they translated his name to Norwegian, then Cub Simba would call him Uncle Arr!

I really like the name Taka, but not for the character. He'll always be Scar to me.

No- Scar means dirt in Swahili.
It was because Uru gave birth to him during a muddy, wet, rainy day.
So he was named based on the setting.

Well I knew it meant dirt. Most fans accept his name to mean garbage, trash or dirt.
I meant about his mother naming him Taka because it was raining and muddy
