What Do You Think Really Killed Mufasa?

I always beleived that cats had nine lives.

But that wouldn't make sense, would it? I think the quote was basically saying that cats usually can land on their feet if/when they fall to the ground. Thus, giving them more a chance to survive.

Yeah. I think the wildebeast played a bigger part in killing Mufasa.

I think the wildebeest killed him. We see in the movie that he`s falling on his back, I just don`t think he fell directly to the ground. I believe he crashed on top the stream of wildebeest first, their horns would have pierced his body, and he would probably have been thrown about a little before landing on the ground and finally being trampled. Not something I would have liked to see, nor think about in detail, but..

Yeah. Disney wouldn't have added all the blood and gashes. It would be to horrific. The wildebeasts killed him.

Thats all you're going to say? I'm not trying to sound rude, on the internet its hard to tell, but you need to back that up with evidence. Your just claiming something.

Yes that fall could have caused damage but it wouldn't be fatal. Thousands of trampling hooves would have broken bones, organs, and would have created cuts. Disney wouldn't have added all the damage because the movie was to be seen by little kids. All the blood would be to gruesome.

I have to say...Both. Cats mostly safe fall. But that doesn't mean that when they land they can just walk up. I think he fell. Got stunned for a few moments. And then the last of the herd killed him off.

Jesus, QueenSummer, I was just stating my opinion, and if you paid attention, my last posts on this topic gave a lot of information about the estimated speed Mufasa was travelling and the effects of this speed coming to a dead stop. If you stopped whitewashing every topic and gave other people a chance to talk, this place would be much more peaceful.

I'm trying to be active. Feel free to post in any topics you please. I beleive the wildebeasts played a bigger part in Mufasa's death and I also think I have reasonable evidence to back it up.
