Fluffy is not a separate character, though. It`s just a name the animators gave to the cub at the end of TLK as a joke. The cub at the end of TLK is supposed to be Kiara.

But you said that Disney had no plans for a sequel, so why did you say that the cub at the end is supposed to be Kiara? He is the wrong color, gender, and it just looks like Simba.

Kopa was based off that cub since TLK was made before Kopa was, and technically he couldn't be there if he didn't exist yet. So the cub is not Kopa. Simple logic

That's because Kopa was based off that cub.

And it's not really a theory, it's a fact.. No sequel or storybook with a continuation was ever intended. The directors actually thought TLK was going to be a failure and didn't expect much from it.

(I'm not trying to revive this topic, but I have a different mindset and would like to state my new opinion)

Because we have the right to beleive whatever we want. Seriously, why do you yell at everyone who likes Kopa? I like Kopa. I don't scream at you just because you hate him.

Honestly, "Fluffy" is a pretty funny nickname XD And, I have a book (buried somewhere in my basement) that ends with "Simba and Nala's son." and my little sister got a Disney coloring book thing recently and it had scenes from TLK. It also said what was going on in the scene. So, at the very end of her little coloring book, there was a picture of Simba and Nala, and Rafiki holding up a cub. And here's what it said on the page: "...and Rafiki presented the new prince. The End." And I consider TLK6NA official. Perhaps Kopa died or something. That would explain the new presentation scene and Simba and Nala's ageing. And possibly Simba's overprotectiveness (though it's probably because of Mufasa). The idea of Kopa fits into the plot: Simba hating Zira; Outlanders being banished; ect. Kopa wouldn't cut into that or ruin it. If you consider it for a second, it makes sense c:

There's a ton of good points here. Lionkingfreak, though, presented the most fantastical, most indiscribably amazing thing of all. LKF presented...
none. No points. Why ISN"T Kopa cannon? I like the thought of kopa. It brings back a somewhat harsh mental flare of good, dark, edgy stuff that I miss. Since the sequal to LBT, and all, there's been none. I support Kopa, and that he was murdered. We have no reason to believe that Kopa was ORIGINALLY intended to be the cub at the end though. But my cousin presented the idea to me, and ever since I've seen those little hints. "If you need your pound of flesh..." I think Kopa was arfound Kovu's age at murder. She could've been referring to revenge. Why were they exiled, anyway?? I mean, just because Zira was associated with Scar? I'm sorry... no. There was a reason.
