Did you cry at Mufasa's death?
Totally agree about The Fox and the Hound! I always hated the part where the old woman leaves the fox (can't remember their names..?) in the forest. Such a heartbreaking scene :(
That one scene was more heartbreaking than the entirety of TLK. The ending of F&H is freaking upsetting too; they never see each other again and it fades out to their child voices saying how they would be friends forever... I cant even describe how powerful that film was when I watched it recently, closest I have ever been to crying in a Film.

So no I did not cry at Mufasa's death; I just do not cry in films. I never have and never will; I tear up at the absolute worst but I just did not find TLK that emotionally capturing. The thing is his death is followed by quick story exposition and a chase scene, and we know that Scar murdered him. I mean it is not like in Bambi... Out playing in the snow fun times and then bang shot at :/

I agree with all the points Flipmode made here. Indeed, it was touching and slightly heartbreaking, but not enough to make me cry. Fox and the Hound was much more emotional...

I cried at first, when I was young. I remember watching it at my aunties house and she was hysterically crying and she only watched the stampede scene :P It is sad but I'm obviously expecting it now so I don't cry anymore.

Yeah. I cried when I was young. But now, I just go say "aw, poor Mufasa" and continue watching the movie.

I definitely cried. I started crying when he initially died, and then I cried even harder when Simba was trying to wake him up.

Surprisingly, I didn't cry the first time I watched it, because I was too little to understand death. The first time I cried was last year ''( And I cried when I saw it in 3D in the cinema last night =(. Poor Muffy.

^This.

Mufasa's death is so tragic, and very heart-breaking, and I feel Simba's pain throughout the whole scene. Also, Hans Zimmer's score music helps make the scene very moving. However, I just don't cry in films; I don't know why, but I just don't.
