lol, I didn't even consider foreign versions of the song, well, foreign to me at least. lol. ^^ I don't really have any real top favorites for a foreign version of CYFTLT, since I enjoy them all even if I can't understand them whatsoever, aside from the French version thanks to Mike's generous translation now. lol. ^^ There are some great YT vids of the foreign versions with subs but I don't always trust them, seeing as I don't have anything to base it off of anyways. ^^

I really like the original version. Because it shows more feelings from Simba and Nala.

That's true, Elton John's is more of a story.

With all of the different versions of CYFTLT, my personal favorite is the in movie version. ^^ I just grown very attached to that one, mainly because of the TLK films of course lol. Also, sometime around in 1995, I use to live close to Pizza Hut, it was pretty much next door from my grandmother's den. Anyway, everytime I go in there, they had this jukebox with all sorts of TLK music. ^^ It was really awesome! I spent most of my money on that little machine lol. :) CYFTLT was mostly played, followed by Hakuna Matata. ^^

My top favorite is the movie version because it's more from Simba and Nala's point of view. It also tells more. I like Elton John's as well! Both have strong feelings in them, but I usually listen to the movie version, well since it was in the movie! If there are other versions of songs and they're in the movie and I saw the movie first, I am mostly to like the movie version. I also like Elton John's version of I Just Can't wait to be King, but the movie version of the TLK songs will always be my top favorite. :)

I think the movie version and the Broadway versions are the best. I have these songs stored on my iPod. ;)
