I didn't like it. O__o It reminded me too much of House Of Mouse for some odd reason.
That part didn't make sense to me. How the heck did Timon and Pumbaa end up in a movie theatre? They're supposed to be in Africa, in the middle of a jungle! It's so messed up lol.
Being that Lion King 1 1/2 was a comedy with some dramatic relief (in opposed to Lion King 1 and 2 which were Dramas with comedic relief) I was able to accept the cinema parts. I still see the movie as having happened in the Lion King Universe, and the cinema parts are pure comedy that we are just supposed to laugh at because it is so far removed from the seriousness of the Lion King.

The silhouettes were okay for the most part throughout the movie. The only real issues I had with it was the fact that it kind of destroyed the "in the moment" feelings the movie had, and then all the disney characters that were brought in at the very end. Which was a major turn-off to me. This would probably have to be my very least favorite part of the movie. But concerning the topic, sometimes when I watch the movie, I do think it could've done better without the silhouettes.

I'm just glad the creators didn't do this during the really good parts of Timon, with his Mother and Uncle (beginning and ending areas), and in his meerkat colony (save where Uncle Max is running from the hyenas).
