I did know about Madge's death but I didn't know that the replacement of her voice was going to be a lack of respect. Wow...

In the end, I think they mostly got rid of Sarabi because they had no part for her. Come on, didn't even have a decent part for Nala... Zazu had a different voice, right?

But hey, perhaps Zira wasn't meant to be Zira in any other way either back when they had her named Bianca? Perhaps she wasn't so evil in that story concept and perhaps she was more girly in personaliry too?
