Digital copies just aren't the same to me either. I like having a visible DVD collection for everyone to behold, that way it becomes obvious to anyone who enters my room what sort of person I am, and I kind of like that lol.
(Not to mention the fact that I get to hold my well-rehearsed Old-Disney-Films-Are-Not-For-Kids- speech as soon as someone questions Lion King and Hunchback of Notre Dame being in this collection xD)

Amen! That is exactly why I like to buy hard copies, well possibly not the whole "well-rehearsed Old-Disney-Films-Are-Not-For-Kids-speech" bit. But the rest of it is pretty much the same reasoning I use for buying physical copies. :)

I can't fully recommend the speech part, some people do seem to find it a little bit intimidating (can't imagine why!)
But yeah it's nice being able to show people who you really are without actually having to say much..if that makes sense. Then they can decide for themselves whether they want to stay or leave straight away!

It usually does not need much explaining though, my friends ,or at least the majority seem to be okay with my love for Disney films. It is not that I love Disney per se, it is that I like a good plot and the Disney classics have that. If all else fails though, I watch anything where stuff blows up too :D so I do have a pretty even mix of genres on display :D. Aaaand I am getting off-topic for like the third time in 20 minutes!
