What is the best scene: Simba or Kiara?

I honestly don’t think that possible. It’s one thing that Kovu is Kiaras first crush/love, but there had to be male cubs in the Pride when Kiara grew up, or it’s possible that she saw Simba chase off a rogue or two at some point. I just can’t see how it’s possible that Kiara never met a single male lion besides Kovu and Simba. That’s just my opinion, though.

To get back on-topic: I definatly think Simba acted braver than Kovu. He kept his cool and did his best to protect his friend. Although Kovu weren’t friends with Kiara, he did say he was going to distract the crocodiles, which he succeeded in, but only by acting in blind panic, running, nearly drowning, and nearly getting eaten, only to be saved by Kiara at the last second.

So yeah, in general I think Simba acted braver and smarter than Kovu, and the Elephant Graveyard scene is definatly the best.

I would definitely prefer the Elephant Graveyard scene.

Like most, I prefer the Elephant Graveyard scene as opposed to the crocodile river. While the latter was interesting and all that, the former is a classic and much more entertaining. In the river, Kiara and Kovu had places to go. In the graveyard, Simba and Nala were completely trapped. Much more climatic when Mufasa appeared. ^_^

I think Simba acted his bravest at the very end of the Elephant Graveyard scene, when he and Nala were literally cornered against the wall and the hyenas were closing in on them. He stood in front of Nala to protect her and tried his best to scare the hyenas off. It's obvious he wouldn't have survived without Mufasa's help but I still think that was a really noble thing he did.
Like PK said, Kovu acted more out of impulse than bravery when he tried to "distract" the crocs. When Kiara told him "you were really brave," it kinda reminded me of when Nala said "I thought you were brave" to Simba. Maybe Disney tried unsuccessfully to reference yet another scene from the first movie when they made SP.

I`ve never thought about that before, actually. That`s a nice similarity, I wouldn`t call it a direct reference.. There`s certainly enough of those in SP, lol.
