Am I the only one that finds the romance in this movie too..

I think it was important to show the love between the two. They are teenagers, so ofcourse they will fall in love quickly.
I don't think the prides would've been united without the love. Kovu wouldn't have been so attached.
Love is impotant. I think it was beautiful.

I do find it not quite as passionate as it could have been. Perhaps if they had followed the Romeo and Juliet plot a little more the movie would be more dramatic. But that's just me, of course. I'm a hopeless romantic and into mushy stuff.

Well yeah considering that both of them died in the end I would say so lol ;)
I dunno sometimes the love scenes were a bit OTT and there sure were a lot of them as well!
