How did Scar die?

I think he was eaten by the hyenas. He was clearly weakened after the battle with Simba, but it seems pretty clear to me that the Hyenas ate him.

Even then..They're Hyenas. Hyenas will back off from lions but these were angry, hungry hyenas. Have you ever seen Hyenas hunt? They don't kill. They just eat you alive.

I think too that the hyenas did the job,but they probably didn't eat him,considering how little time was left when the fire began to spread.
And if you imagine that scene,it just seems so...

I think they finished him off, whether they killed him or just ate him. After all, he was only one <weak> lion, and there were sooo many angry hyenas... What else would have killed him? Especially judging from the shadows we saw shortly after Scar was approached by the hyenas.

Well actually eatings a but brutal i think now XD i think he was just attacked and the flames were just effect i think Shenzi Ed and the others legged it affter that.

Like most, I believe that Scar was eaten alive by the hyenas. The fire simply finished the job, eradicating a good majority of the canines and what was left of Scar most likely.

I believe that that Scar was eaten alive by the hyenas until the flames got too close them. The hyenas left before their fur would get on fire and the remains Scar (pretty much) were burned to the ground.

I always thought it was implied the Hyenas ate him. Just the way they pounced on him before the fire really engulfed Pride Rock.
