) I’m not convinced Nala is Vitanis mother, though.. Like Czarine mentioned, the Disney people never payed much attention to Nala’s side of the story. The official story says that Zira is the mother of Nuka, Vitani and Kovu. That’s what I’ve chosen to believe too.(I believe this too. Just the way Nala and Vitani converse at he end made me suspiscious.)
..And when it comes to Scar being Nalas father, that’s also something I’ve chosen to believe. I have my theory about that.
In regards to the TLKoB lyrics: I believe Scar is Nalas father. But Sarafina could have chosen not to tell Scar that Nala was his daughter.. likewise she could have chosen not to reveal the identity of Nalas father to her.
The line from the song "nobility in every gene" that hints at royalty in my opinion.. Where would that come from, if not from Scar himself? (or Mufasa?) (Sarafina could've been the queen of another pride and that pride male and Mufasa aranged Simba and Nala's marriage thinking if the two grew up together they'd like each other more. Also if she were Mufasa's daughter she would be the princess and yet another obsticle he had to take care of. Plus why would he want to mate his own daughter. And again. Why would disney put incest in a kid's movie? I honestyly think that line was meant to ryhme than do anything else.)
Lastly, the song is called "The Madness of King Scar." If Scar was Nalas father and wanted to make her his Queen, that would really prove his insanity...
Lastly, the way I see it, TLKoB is an interpretation of the movie that also explores areas not seen in the film, such as going deeper into the reign of Scar. Just another theory, the way I see it.
