Why do they all have scars?

Mmmhmm. While there is a lot left unsaid in the LK movies, it would be interesting to see more of some characters.

Yes, definatly. Certain characters are given too little screentime and characterdevelopment.

I just think that Scar get his scar in a fight with Ahadi or even with Mufasa , Zira does't have a piece of the ear so that's a scar too and i got the theory that she could get that when she was exiliated (not sure how to spell that) by Simba and as we seen in SP Kovu got his scar cuz Zira hit him when Nuka died

I personally believe that Scar's scar was a result of his first botched attempt to kill Mufasa as cubs, teens, or possibly young adults. But I refuse to believe an ox horn could have sliced his eye without stabbing it. I mean, is that even physically possible?

Scar: Got his Scar from a buffalo as said in The Lion King: Six New Adventures
Kovu: Got hit by Zira, obviously.

And I suppose Zira's ear could count as a scar, but it's not really the same type of Kovu and Scar.

And Scar had his scar because he was based off of Claw, another animated lion.
