Least Favorite part of TLK 1.5?

I think Disney shouldn't called this movie the third part of the Lion King trilogy, since it's more of a parody of the first movie. I think, if they made it a parody and still made a normal 3rd movie, I could have gotten more appreciation for the joke moments. I was 17 or something when the 3rd movie came out, and I guess I was just too old to appreciate the humor used in the movie, it is more aimed at little children (who laugh at words like poo and pee :P)

I hated that they cut out the Hula scene. That was my favorite Timon and Pumbaa moment from TLK, yet in the full length movie about Timon and Pumbaa, they cut out that scene. Whaat? That bugged me.

I think Disney must have thought that adding a funnier, more kid friendly movie would make up for all the tragedy that filled the first movie.

I liked how they made Rafiki the origin of Hakuna Matata....

but then again, I don't like how they placed situations that could have made certain occurences occur, I liked the mystery of it all. Movies don't really let you decide what happens, and 1 1/2 really ruined that kinda possibility.

It is kinda sad that the bowing was the result of a fart, though. :( :smelly:

Yet from all the characters, I am glad they chose Timon and Pumbaa to follow, because after all, I wanted to know how Timon came to that place, without a family, and for Godsakes, a warthog! :looney:

I agree, it was somewhat boring. But I love the moment when Pumbaa looks at the way too small bed, circles around it, tries to fit himself into it and then just starts to sleep, feeling all fine and pleased. It's so darn cute and tells a lot about Pumbaa's wonderful personality. :)
