the silhouettes in the cinema

yeah, the parts where Simba's childhood and his teenage years are shown, are indeed pretty enjoyable. I also like the part where you see Timons family and the "digga-tunna" song, it's really new, but I am still against the fact that this movie is titled as an original Lion King movie. It's mostly about Timon and Pumbaa, and personally I agree with Thani, I am not a Pumbaa-hater, since I like the simplicity and kindness of this critter, but I despise Timon the way Scar despises guessing games ;)

And the cinema-scenes are just one big failure. It lowered down the quality and enjoyment of the whole movie, and made me think Disney wanted to gain big money with little effort....which is, in my humble opinion, a huge dissapointment, since Disney has always made great animated movies and my expectations of this 3rd TLK movie were high. It got me dissapointed. :(

lol, I didn't mind the cinema parts. They gave me some laughs, plus I never hated that movie because it got me addicted into TLK again. :) So yeah, they don't bother me. (One of my friends likes TLK 1 1/2 more than the others! =0 )

yeah, it's not so much the story that bothered me, it's just that it was WAAAAY to un-serious and not about the lions.
the most disturbing thing was Mickey Mouse coming into that cinema.....he just doesn't belong in a TLK movie....

I just dislike how this film was so self-conscious about TLK being a movie... I mean, you have characters from the original film sitting there watching TLK in a cinema.. It would be just like Mufasa and Scar walking in saying "Our acting was great in that scene..." Like they were regular actors in a movie. Do you know what I mean?

I wish that there was no cinema or silhouettes at all. I wish they just chose the opening where they are painting in Rafiki's tree, explaining how we don't know the "1/2" of it, then Rafiki yelling at them. :hey5:

lol, I didn't really mind it.. We already know it's just a movie after all. I was actually amused by it.
