That name doesn't fit with TLK universe. It's like if you had Nala, Pumbaa and Mufasa but Simba was named Jack.

- Originally, Vitani's name was gonna be "Shetani", which means "demon", but this was changed because the meaning was too obscure. "Vita" means "war" in Swahili, and the "ni" at the end makes it "war demon".

If you ask me, "war demon" sounds even more obscure... I think Vitani actually means "at war".

I think they mean Simba was going to have white fur in an early version of the script or something like that, which is the root of many "OMFG TLK COPIED KIMBA" freak-outs.
