well, "My how you've grown," seems like the kind of comment a grandmother would say about her young adult grand-daughter doesn't it?

still, I say that it can very well be Sarafina. her design was pretty much the same as the miscellaneous lionesses in TLK. in TLK2, the miscellaneous lionesses are done differently so perhaps Sarafina was too. besides they messed up Nala's design in TLK2, she isn't supposed to have darker eyelids. not to mention the colors are a bit messed up and different artists are drawing them. which is why Simba and Nala don't look quite like themselves.

and she didn't seem that young to me. she looked like every other adult lioness.

Maybe we can get someone on the inside... Still, it could just be one of those mysteries that remains hidden forever, like flight 19!

((btw, just a side note on a comment way back, it takes about 2,500 normal licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop... I tried this as an experiment a couple years ago and the guinness book of world records confirms it)

lol, if anyone here ever works for Disney, don't forget to ask who that lioness was!

((and I got to the center in 971 normal licks. I completely licked the lollipop part of the Tootsie Pop away in 1,197 normal licks....but my tongue was VERY sore))

Hmm, that's true. But it could also be an aunt or older cousin or something...

But her eyes weren't green. If the lioness was meant to be Sarafina, I think she really should have green eyes (or blue).

Well, seems like the comic book was only published in Greece... Well, it's better than the normal TLK comic book. The characters looked weird.

Oh, that's a pity. I have never seen SP comic books here in Finland. I have a TLK comic book... and like you said, the characters look a bit odd.

When I played the movies recently, I compared Sarafina's voice with the voice of the lioness who said, "My, how you've grown!". Personally, I think it sounds like her. (:

Yeah, the voice actress is propably the same as Sarafina's in that version. But does that mean that the "My, how you've grown" lioness is Sarafina?

Well, did they got Sarafina's actress in the other versions? In the Greek version, it doesn't sound like Sarafina.
