The Lion King Alternate Ending

I still think they should of went with the darker version. Sure, this is kids movie, but this isn't as bad as Zira's Sucide attempt that Disney cut out from TLK II: Simba's Pride. Besides, this makes things more interesting, and being comsumed by fire was like being consumed in his own greed. It was, say, a different way of death.

I looooove how twisted Scar is in this ending... I wish they have kept this ending, it's just much more fitting. (I do admit that it's quite ironic that his own henchmen were the ones to kill him, though.)

Scar's evil laugh was creepy. o_O I guess I'll stay awake all night because of this. o_O ''BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! -fires come close to Scar- -Scar gets burned alive while he's still laughing- O_O

Edit: I also liked the ''Goodnight, sweet prince'' thingy. It just proves how much TLK and Hamlet look alike. And it was really evil. Awesome version, I wonder how it would look with color and animation.

I really didn't like that ending

I mean, Simba worked all that time to face his past and he just gets beaten/killed anyway? Thats just depressing. I watch TLK to get away from a pretty depressing reality I DON'T wanna see THAT!

It's very dark though, which I like I still think the ironic justice of the original ending works best though. Scar's lies come back and bite him, which soon becomes a very brutal death (good, he deserved it, lol). I definitely prefer the original to the alternate ending.

He isn't getting killed, yeah, sure he was hurt, but feeling sorry for your uncle isn't bad. I believe this should have stayed or at least added as a special feature.
