What do you mean by held up?
How has the movie aged now that it has been out as long as it has and the flaws have been pointed out?
The real way to describe the term would be - would the film be as huge if it released for the first time today as it was when it released in the 90s?
And I would say that yes it has stood the test of time. Although I may get older and kind of grow away from it and such, that does not mean I think the film has lost its quality as well. It is still very much a film I will be showing my children, because it has a good message and is quite frankly still a joy to watch. The animation, even though we have almost entirely shifted to CG animation now, is still leagues above a lot of modern releases, the soundtrack is still a master-class in how to score a movie. This film set a benchmark and yes there have been other incredible films that have tapped into that mark since then, nothing has really raised the bar as significantly as this did.
And until someone manages that (quite frankly, I doubt that ever WILL happen, at this point) then the film will continue to age as well as it has.
