It's a shame Sarafina didn't have more than one line. It would let us know more about her.

I'm glad they made Scar Mufasa's brother it goes better with the story line I think.

I think that it wouldn't have fit if Scar wasn't Mufassa's brother. This way it gives it a definat Hamlet sort of feel. I think they should have added the Be Prepared reprise cause then it would have given the viewer a little more of a look at scar Just my thinking. Serafina is such a cool character if only they featured her a little bit more! I do think that cutting her lines wasn't cool. Btw you can go on youtube and watch the Be Prepared Reprise. Its pretty cool...in my opinion.

Well. Did you all know that Scar was originally going to be a rogue. But the producers thought I would be better If Scar was related to the king,Mufasa.

Originaly, Sarafina had more lines, cut it would make the movie longer.

And, the producers had another, "Be Prepared", Scar singd this after Mufasa's death. But it was cut from the film.

I didn't know Sarafina was supposed to have more lines!

Didn`t know about that. In the special edition for Robin Hood, you also get to know about a scene where Prince John goes after Robin, but Maid Marian protects him. I thought that would have been nice, because Marian simply disappears in the second half of the movie.

These are interesting facts to know, actually. I've heard somewhere before that Scar had another version of Be Prepared and Serafina had more lines, but never that Scar was originally going to be a rogue. But, yes, it certainly does make it much more sinister that someone would kill their own brother.

Anyone knew that the staff neglected the movie at first and preferred to work with Pocahontas instead believing it would be more successful of those two. Only after strong audience reception of an early trailer containing solely "Circle of Life" they started to change their minds.
