Should Pumbaa's backstory have been included?

Yes, Timon & Pumbaa are a team and if the audience gets to see the family and former life of Timon, why shouldn't Pumbaa get the same treatment?

I think it would have been ok. Pumbaa's backstory in the series wasn't as good of an episode as Timon's, so I would have been less upset about them re-doing it.
