Yeah, agreed. I could see the non-royal king or queen having the same responsibilities and rights than the royal one to some extent but literally laying down of the laws and punishments and all that kind of crucial stuff would have to go through/be done by the royal one.[/quote]
Definatly. I mean, If Kovu started barking orders at the rest of the Pride, the lioness would be angry, Simba would be angry and so would Nala, and Kiara i would imagine would be dissapointed in him.
Maybe the higher rank also comes from the ruler not knowing the non-royal lions bloodline, and what their parents did. Because the rouge could have done anything in the past, but the rulers know exactly what went down within their family and what to expect.... You know?
