nah i just think you like to sound like you know what your talking about
This is where you're wrong. What I like, is to keep the lines between official, semi-official, canon and fanon as clear as they can be kept and I do it up to my best ability for an entire fandom instead of just for myself. And there's nothing wrong about that, because if those lines didn't matter, no one would've ever made up those terms in the first place. Results in: They don't have to matter to you personally, but it doesn't change the fact that they matter in the concept of a fandom, in the general world of fiction.
to be honest, i really don't think anyone cares whether Kopa Ahadi or anybody else from the books are considered canon or not.
I happen to know countless of TLK fans who totally care. And other fandom fans, too. Hence, why the mentioned terms were made up for the concept of a fandom, once upon a time. In fact, it could be said that the most passionate fans in a fandom care also about what's truly canon and about the canon's creator's intent because those two things are the heart of the fandom/story we love so much.
this is a fan site for the lion king, the books were based of the lion king therefor they will be on this site, you can't act like they never existed, whether it be by books or movies, because in one universe or another they did.
Where have I claimed the books or their new characters don't exist at all? I don't recall saying so. I have only said the book universe characters don't exist in the movie universe which is a fact. I have only kept clear that the two universes are officially seperated and who created what. That is not saying that something doesn't exist at all.
