Yep, I beleive so. After all, Scar is Simba's uncle. What's wrong with them hanging out without telling his parents?

I always believed it was the next day too. Think about it, Simba must be at least a month or two old when this happens (I'm not sure how old he was, but it was a while after his presentation anyway) so Scar would have actually had a long time to plan out what he was going to do, maybe he was just waiting for the right time?

I always figured Simba and Nala were at least seven at the time but okay. It makes more sence to me if the Stampede was the next day.

Well, according to TLK 1.5 it had to have happened the next day..
That movie has so many flaws.
