Did You Think It Was A Little Offensive When...

This movie is a perfect example of Disney's laziness nowadays. I mean I liked TLK2:SP, it's just not a lot of effort wasn't put into it like the first film. It was basically a Direct to Video release with different animators and a shorter production time. This movie, after watching it a couple of minutes ago made me realise that Disney hardly puts any effort into their sequels anymore like previous Disney classics.
The only thing I find offesive is when they scream like total idiots (mocking Mufasa's scream on the fall to death) and fall into that river. I mean, seriously, that river never existed, remember when Scar sent the hyenas to kill Simba and Simba came across a dead end and had to climb up some crevice? Yeah, the way the gorge is put up in TLK.5 is messed up. Then of course you realize Pumbaa says 'Shall we run for our lives?' with a sarcastic smile across his face, kinda mocking Simba and Mufasa's tiring escapes while, yes believe it or not, RUNNING. Also, the way the wildebeest are set up in TLK.5 at the end of the stampede when Timon and Pumbaa are floating is so irritating, they are so calm, grazing peacefully.
Yeah, what's up with that? :?

You'd be in luck. John Lassester has put a stop to these sequel abominations. 8-)
The way I feel, everything about The Lion King 1½ feels a little offensive. It mocks the whole concept of TLK. Sorry, I just really dislike this movie.
^ This exactly. The movie stomped all over the original and downright trashed all of the most moving parts of TLK. I will never, ever forgive this movie for making Pumbaa pass gas, causing the other animals to "bow" during Simba's presentation. That whole scene (in TLK) is one of the most powerful scenes that Disney has ever made. And TLK1.5 absolutely dumped all over it. :x
"Simba, let me tell you something my father told me. Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. So whenever you feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you. And so will I." ~ Mufasa

I agree, and I like Timon & Pumba for what they are: clowns. But I think that to laugh on a so sad scene of a so wonderful movie isn't funny.
