I like Vitani as an Outsider but I picked Kovu. First, Kovu is my 2nd favorite character and he's very interesting turning from the dark side into the light of the Pridelanders. He came from the Outlands but he's not so much of an Outsider. He became a rouge after leaving where he was born and later turns into living his "reality" home and becoming from nothing to rouge to a prince of the Pridelands (aka: Simba's heir).
