lol I think he took it from the lionesses after their hunt. I just don’t see Scar actually hunting anything himself, especially not after his huge moan in TLK about the lionesses hunting.

I suppose any dead meat is rotting, and so is technically carrion, especially in the heat of the pridelands.

And seeing how selfish Scar was with food during his actual reign, that leads us to believe that perhaps there is probably something wrong with his offering, seeing as he himself isn't eating it. ^^
