Did Zira want to be saved?

This is a tricky subject, since the seconds leading up to Zira's death can be interpreted in so many different ways.

Personally, it think she initially didn't, then reconsidered. When Kiara holds out her paw, you notice Zira makes a swipe at it...but I always saw the move as an attempt to attack and harm Kiara, not take her paw to save her.

But as several people above have mentioned, right as she's about to lose her grip, you see her eyes go wide as she realises her fate, and I believe, in that moment, she would have reconsidered, even if she knew it was far too late by then.

But as I said...tricky moment in the film, rather open to interpretation.

i think that Zira didnt want to be saved,she wanted to be a trooper for scar till the end, i personally think zira's cut death should have been shown,it shows she died bravely fighting for what she thought was right even if really it was totally wrong. i think she was trying to grab kiara's paw and pull her down woth her,just to prove that even at her dying moment she was a strong female with the willpower of one.

and for her eyes at the very end before she fell i think she was seeing things,like scar and her mother and father telling her she should have taken the help to keep getting revenge for scar and everyone who died. and she may have gotten scared and knew it was too late,also woth her cut death i would think she did that as a gesture of spite and the spirits aproved of it.

also i dont understand why they say Ziras cut death was too harsh when scar killed his only brother out of wanting to be king.

I was always under the impression that she didn't want to be saved..well not by Kiara,at least. But I agree with AC,this part of the film can be interpreted in so many different ways. I guess there isn't really a definate answer to what exactly she was thinking before she fell.

I think Zira was just unable to let go of her hate, and it destroyed her in the end, very much like Scar before her.

I think that when we get desperate, we look for some help. It happened with Zira, but just because she was in danger.

that swipe at kiaras paw the more times i watch it the more i think shes shes despretly trying to grab her paw. but if zira didt want to be saved it may have been due to her pride as similar to much she probaly doesent like to accept help

It's a perplexing question, but I'm pretty sure that that was just a viscious swipe with claws out and all, but if it wasn't, Kiara was being very mean withdrawing her paw like that.

I think she was just trying to get it out of the way of that vicious swipe lol. After that she reached down and tried to help Zira again
