Is Mufasa's main fur the same color as Simba's fur?

yes and no, a lions fur darkens as he gets older(but does not get as dark as scars, it depends on Who ther parents are/were.

No. It isn't. Cubs are never color clones of their parents.

No, Simba's main pelt isn't the same shade as Mufasa's. His father's pelt is a little darker, but obviously around the nose is the opposite. However, Simba's mane is a little lighter.

I think they are quite close in colour, but Mufasa is a little bit darker. Especially his mane is darker than Simbas, it seems.

hmm, well, I don't think that both Mufasa and Simba has the same fur color, Mufasa has a darker color but since Sarabi has a lighter color, their gene for the fur color conbine, it make it Simba fur color look more ligther

Yup. I was confused about it for a while too. Then I found MLK screengrabs and was able to tell the difference

It is a bit like kiara, it seems that it becomes darker with age
