I think so too.
But I think that Kiara met Kovu as a Cub. :innocent: :goodnight:

As Moka mentioned TLK is based on Hamlet.
By taking out the fact that Mufasa's death inadvertly brought about Simba's struggle to liberate the Pridelands and reclaim his throne..then it would just be another poor and bland storyline.

Don't misunderstand me but as much as I like Mufasa and as much as I was saddened by his death in the movie, by having a What if Mufasa survived storyline then..the Lion King wouldn't be the Lion King as the Lion King is about Simba and his struggle to reclaim his throne.

I read a fanfiction once, about Mufasa surviving. It was called What might have been:

Has some theories.

that's true, I mean, I know that Mufasa's death is really sad, but without this tragic event, it would just a fail of this movie

I think it wouldn't be as good, since Mufasa's death was one of the biggest plot turners.
Maybe Scar would have found another way to become King, maybe not.

That is a story I love!!! It explains very well what could have happened. I love the split personality of Scar and Taka.

I think it would be better then it is now Besides In the part where Rafiki is drawing Kovu and kiara on his tree it was mufasas idea to make kovu and kiara as a couple Simba was wrong in the first place anyway

If Mufassa didn't die? Booooorrrrrriiiinnngggg :P. And Simba would never have become King, but it would have more James Earl Jones which is always a good thing I s'pose.

I think that if Mufasa didn’t die (or rather, Scar never killed him) Simba would have become a better and stronger king in his own right. rather than trying to become Mufasa the second.. Mufasa would have been able to give Simba all the training, advice and wisdom he’d need to lead the kingdom.
