Haha, interesting! I had to watch that scene many times. I think something went wrong with the shading.

Of course, Kiara is related to Zira, who is her great aunt. So, it's possible that Kiara got her stripe from, possibly, Zira?

But do you believe that Kiara and Zira are actually blood relatives? Because if they are not it's impossible for Kiara to inherit something from Zira...

Okay, .. It's impossible to inherit something from an aunt.. You can only inherit stuff from your parents, grandparents, and so forth... Secondly. Zira IS Simba's aunt, by marriage, DUR... Remember, Zira=Scar's Mate,, Scar=Simba's Uncle...

so.. Scar= Simba's Uncle... Zira= Scar's Mate.... Zira= Simba's aunt because of "marriage" ... ... oh, and since Simba= kiara's dad.... that makes Zira, KIARA'S GREAT AUNT.. (by marriage)... which means that Kovu and kiara, aren't realated.... at all... step cousins? ... but that isn't even really related.. so there's no incest at all..

It look like is just a mess up shading, the producers must did that because they were trying to gave the eefects of light and shadows.

When I was watching the movie, after Simba smiled at her, when she gets up, she has a visible stripe!It's not a sholder shading I know that. But if it's a stripe, why's it there? Is it possible that she was born with the stripe, or did Disney accidently add it? Of course, Kiara is related to Zira, who is her great aunt. So, it's possible that Kiara got her stripe from, possibly, Zira?

it's her shoulder blade casting a shadow. not the wisest use of shading in that particular frame.

and Zira isn't related to Kiara at all, by blood or marriage. keep in mind that Disney has never said Scar and Zira were mates. Zira's just some deluded fangirl of him who thought he loved her just because he picked one of her cubs to be his heir. cause it just doesn't make sense that they'd be mates and he'd pick her former mate's cub as his heir.

now if Uru or someone from Nala or Sarabi's side of the family had a stripe, then we could say she inherited it. but since its only visible in a few frames with rushed shading, it's not likely.
