What Do You Like Best About TLK?

Simba is the best character in the movie. He works hard and accomplishs his goal. He has a mentor who dise (Mufasha) and meets some good pals (timon&pumba). I like his character.

This movie has been with me pretty much my whole life, and it just never gets old, no matter how much I watch it.

1. It was not just a movie-it was an EVENT. Disney movies were phenomenons in the 1990s but LK trumped them all.

3. It was a film that had fun animation for the kids but at the same time appealed to the adults. You don't have that today.

5. To me, TLK was the event for us 90s kids what Star Wars was for kids in the 70s.

I can not single out one thing either so I will just say the incredible emotional power of the movie itself. It was so very epic.

How does one pick just one thing from such a grand movie I know that I couldn't even to this day I can say with honesty I still get a little emotional when I watch the part with Simba's dad, and I'm a guy lol.

If I had to pick the best one from several of my main choices, it would have to be the fact that TLK is the exception to Disney. I'm not really a Disney itself fanatic. But let me just say that (and since I was born a couple of years before 1994), TLK apparently did raise the standards of how the world views traditionally animated movies. This includes the characters as well.

I think I should note that the music itself is powerful in this movie. Moreover, the scores in my opinion.

The scenery is another area to note as well. I think this is the most artistic area of the movie. I mean, the scenes of the savanna and the rain shafts that show up (leading to the nocturnal storm with lightning strikes going on nearby Rafiki's tree) I think, is amazing to see visually in traditional animation.
