Why is Kovu healthier than Nuka?

Genetics are one thing, but its very clear if you look at Zira's model when they are cubs then when the trio are full grown, she has gone from powerful to lean and ridged. I think many assume that this is a weakness, and refer to Scar. Scar never sufferd from lack of food, he ate well being royalty. Zira sacrificed for her cubs constantly and let them have much of her share, this is clearly expressed in her physical changes. The fact that Kovu is built solid, Vitani looks rather fertile and Nuka IS EVEN ALIVE.

In hard times animals of almost every species let there young die out or even eat them, so they, as a breeder can live thru the season to bare MORE young. This isnt the case here. So think about that next time you want to say Zira didnt love Nuka or ignored Vitani.

Side bar: The writers have gone on record to say they had Kovu as Scars blood, but refused to play it in the final version of the script due to it being incest..which is funny if you think about how animals do not think of such things. But whatever Disney, whatever. Art note, Kovu out of all 3 of the Cubs also imo, looks the most like Scar/Muffasa but thats just not how Grandchildren work out. I myself am a perfect mutt between my parents, like Vitani is. But then Kovu and Nuka both look just like there Father. And lets not forget that while its fun for us as fans to pick this all apart, these children just like real children only take TRAITS from parents in physical apperance, and thus the rest is original. Vitani's eyes for example or Nuka's tail, Kovu's jaw line, etc, are all examples of unique traits not seen in mother or father.

I really beg anyone who enjoyed TLK2 SP to go to deviant art and search for Dark Times Comic, this thing is a hand drawn, nearly 200 page and ON GOING storyline that in that authors opinion answers so many, many questions.

I love TLK and i love being part of its Pride of Fans, but i have noticed over the years, that its fanbase is more rabidly loyal and willing to bite anyone who would argue with them, then any other. And yes that includes the Buffy fanbase, lol.

I assume that Zira took more care of Kovu and Vitani than she did to Nuka. Besides, she never really paid much attention to him so probably his health was in lower standards due to the poor conditions of the Outlands.
