Where were the Outsiders?

I have always been a fan of the Outlanders were out hunting, during The Battle for Pride Rock, It makes sense that Scar would have more than one hunting party out looking for food. being that food was so scarce. I also agree, with Noah that After her banishment Zira may have recruited several rogue lionesses. into the outlanders. as for wen Kovu and Vitani were born, Well I like the theory DGFone put forward The Age Difference Between Kovu And Kiara Thread ( https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/#utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-oa-na-us-site=9 ) That Zira in her insanity may have heard Scar tell to go find a Lion and Proved Scar with a new heir. so It could be that Zira did not have Vitani and (My personal theory aside) Kovu until after She and The Outsiders were banished.

If that's true, then she would have had a major personality change. She was more than willing to give Kovu up to Simba. Then again, like other people said, Scar's death was probably the turning point.

Lol, I can't believe I haven't posted here yet. Here I am!

The real fact is that when the first Lion King movie was made, due to its uncertain nature (boom or bust), it was made without the planning for any sequels. Frankly, I think that this made The Lion King a better movie, but I digress. What this does mean is that we didn't see any outsiders in the battle because they simply didn't exist yet.

Now for my opinion as for what happened canon-wise. All of the lionesses present in the fight were brought there by Nala, who gathered them to help Simba challenge Scar. ("Nala, you go and rally the lionesses...") This means that Nala would only have gotten those lionesses which she knew would help her and Simba. And seeing as the outsiders are aligned with Scar, I simply think that Nala knew enough not to bring them to the fight, should they pull an Italy and change sides in the middle of the battle and let Scar win.

So why didn't we see outsiders there? Because they weren't there.

Zira amy not have been there because she was taking care of Vitani and Kovu, (who had to have been extremely young at the time.)
I am also a big fan of: Phantom of the Opera, High School Musical, Harry Potter, Disney in general, Days of Our Lives, musicals in general, Dr. Seuss in general and the Grinch.

Actually, I could see her fleeing to protect Scar's heir. I think when she offered Kovu to Simba she KNEW that he would never actually take her up on the offer.

Hmm. Interesting theory about Nala only choosing the lionesses she could trust. I had never even thought about that before.

So obviously, they never appear or are even mentioned in TLK, but here's what I think:
While Sarabi's hunting party (the Pridelander lionesses) resented Scar accepted the fact that there was no food, Scar himself was still in denial and insisted that the lionesses continue searching. Zira's small Outlander hunting party, obeying Scar's command, went out in search of food while the fight went down. Zira would have come back finding her mate dead, and Simba as the new king. Since lions usually kill the previous alpha of the pride to become alpha themselves, it was reasonable for Zira to assume Simbaa murdered Scar, and she probably lashed out at him, resulting in the banishment of her and her party, as well as her three "kids," Nuka, Vitani, and the very-recently-born Kovu.

I make my own fanart, and do some fanfics, too. I made my avatar and sig myself out of screenshots from TLK and TLK2. If anyone wants an avy or sig, PM me and I'll get right to it ;)
