I'm curious, does the Finnish dub of TLK stick closely with the original English dub? If there are some differences between what's said in English and what's said in Finnish, I would love for you to post a few!

It`s like that in Norway too.
Kind of annoying sometimes, especially considering all the dubbed voices speak the same dialect. In my opinion they should bring in peolpe from different areas of the country, especially considering in the English versions some characters speak American and others British accents, f.ex.

Hmm, they do this with Flemish dubs. The voice actors are from all over the country, and to be honest, I absolutely hate it :s
They use the accents to identify with some characters, and sometimes make fun of certain dialects, I don't like that at all

It's the same over here mostly, most of the Swedish voices all sound more or less the same (well to some extent as they all have the same accents). It gets a bit boring.

Hmm...to be really honest the original songs and Finnish versions are both so good, that i'ts hard to tell. But what I can say for sure, is that Be prepared-song is way better in english.

Well yes the Finnish dub does stick closely to the original dub. And of course there are some little differences:

example 1:
When cub Simba asks Scar what would Scar become when Simba is the king of Pride Rock, in english version Scar reponds: ''a monkeys uncle'' and in finnish version Scar says: ''old and decrepit''.

example 2:
When Timon says to cub Simba that when world turns it's back on you, you turn your back to the world, in english Simba says: ''That's not what I was taught'', but in finnish Simba says: '' I don't think it goes like that''.

translations are my own so I hope they are ok.
