TLK on Disney Channel

The Lion King hasn't been scheduled to be aired on Disney Channel in the United States yet, as far as I am concerned. I checked my DVR and IMDb.com for any television airings within this current week, and it listed no results.
I'm fairly certain there are several movies that aren't allowed to air on the US Disney Channel. TLK, Pinocchio, Snow White, Bambi are a few I recall. I'll try to find where I read that, but I think their reasoning was that they're the best of Disney and shouldn't be subject to a television viewing?? I didn't understand it when I read it either.
Actually I was just watching Snow White on the US Disney Channel a few weeks ago....
Yeah! I remember Disney Channel showed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Beauty and the Beast on Thanksgiving Day, which is most likely what you are referring to. Not to mention they show Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin every once in a while on ABC Family (owned by Disney).

Well darn, I just recently cancelled my Disney channel subscription. No doubt it would have been on Disney Cinemagic anyway, which I didn't even have beforehand so MYAH to you, I say MYAH,

I probably shouldn't have posted that. I can't find where I read that and even if I did, it would probably be on some discussion board where the poster made up the information on the spot. Plus it aired at least once back in 1996.

Wel, I do hope you find your source, and the movie did have a television premiere on Disney Chanel back in 1996. Here's the promo:

Lucky to those who have Disney Cinemagic in the UK, as well as those who live in Sweden.

In the US, I wish that ABC Family changed to Disney Family Cinemagic or Disney Family Cinema. Anyway, I only watch it for 25 Days Of Christmas, and recently, they aired Disney Pixar's Up. That means next year, TOY STORY 3 will air! YAAAY! The live action shows would air primetime on random days of the week on ABC. But what I'm really waiting for is....
TIMON AND PUMBAA!

Yes! The show based on The Lion King. It might air on Disney Junior, as I saw a promo on YouTube from a Disney Junior in a different country. It even had a British voiceover. Plus, I read an article from the UK which said Disney Junior will air the show (because the London Broadway production hit a preformance milestone, and the 3D version came out), which means the 24 hour Disney Junior in US might air it.
Hula Timon was purchased on August 5th, 2011.
Hula Pumbaa was purchased on August 25, 2011.

Well, they showed it twice on Xmas Day but haven't done so since. I do think it'll be back eventually, or at least I hope so :)

Timon and Pumbaa, much like House Of Mouse, is still on Disney Channel. Its just on very late because they play the classic stuff later when older people are likely to watch it for nostalgia. Its an odd show though, funny and good even, but seeing the characters in places like Rome Colosseum is... o.0.

TLK also aired on ABC. Believe it was the same year as the Disney Channel (1996).

It doesn't air in America anymore. It used to about 2 years ago when Toon Disney was around.
