I think that Ed is actually quite smart, but doesn't show it very often. So yes, I believe his stupidity is somewhat of a mask.

Actually, being crazy and stupid isn't quite the same thing. There are plenty of people who are completely nuts yet very intelligent, at least to some extent. I don't think Ed is stupid at all, but I would certainly agree that "the lights are not all on upstairs". If that makes any sense at all lol.

Lol. The title painted a picture of Ed who's actually highly intelligent evil genius who just plays a nutcase, waiting for just the right time to take over Pridelands. That would be kinda cool.
