they kill off a character in every single TLK movie they chose Nuka. and in the sequels people make Nuka alive one log hitting him would just make him knocked out.

Actually considering the way Nuka was stuck, as well as the speed and weight of of the log, and where it hit him. I can see how that would be fatal to Nuka.

If it crushed his ribs in, he would have died within seconds. If it broke his spine, he would have died instantly. If it crushed his arteries, he wouldn't have been able to speak with the blood pouring out his mouth. I think how he died is pretty confusing...

Maybe, since he was struggling for breath. But it was probably only one since he managed to speak more than one gulp of air should have allowed so he most likely had 2 or 3 at the most.

Yeah I think that's why or maybe he had a concussion and he passed out after it slipped into accoma and died in a vegetative state
