You bet I do! What is not to like about them? Every Disney film needs that comical relief character(s), I think they are what give this great film that traditional classic Disney film feel and flare. Like the Genie in Aladdin for instance :)

Despite the fact that they can be annoying, they saved Simba and kept the story alive, they must be given due credit...

That's true. If it weren't for them, Simba would have been eaten alive by the buzzards :O

Nope. Used to, but their novelty has long since worn out.

I have never liked them, not even when I was a kid. As far as Disney`s comic relief characters go, they were alright in TLK, they were actually given an important function (saving Cub Simba and raising him) but on SP they annoy me to no end. In TLK, they weren`t as over the top and involved too much, compared to the sequel. And I don`t even want to think about nr 3/1.2 - why did they need a movie when they had their own TV show?

No :P I've always found them annoying tbh. At least in the first movie they had their moments, but there was no need to make a whole movie from their point of view.

ETA: Lol I posted in this ages ago and said pretty much the same thing....oh well

I do like Timon and Pumbaa!

In TLK, I find them a joy to watch, not to mention they are important to the story. They end up saving Simba from the vultures and taking him in. They didn't HAVE to do this, but they did.
They raise him and become his best of friends. When it's time for him to fight Scar and take over the throne, they don't run away, they fight!
Timon and Pumbaa are symbols in TLK that friends come in all shapes and sizes.

They are also there for comical relief, which is another important factor. They came in basically right after Mufasa had been killed by his own brother, who had then ordered his hyena minions to kill Simba. That's pretty dark stuff, guys. So of course that would be the perfect time to bring in the comedy kings.

All in all, I really like Timon and Pumbaa as characters.
