Especially when she was so young. I think she was just trying what Nala does to Simba sometimes on a potential mate, since Zazu has probably been blabbering about betrothal and mates and the circle of life since she was born.

It could make sense though, if you think about it.. xD Ya know..it's not like there were any other options ;D Maybe if there HAD been plenty of other males around, she would have ended up falling in love with one of them instead.
